TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE

No matter how much you could try to deny it by your actions that you are not in charge of your own life, well the truth is that you will never run away from dictating your own life because is the role that has been awaiting you as you grow up. So when you run away from that responsibility is like neglecting all what you ever wished for.As some people are always in denial that they are in charge of their lives they often look for scapegoats to blame as a way of running from their circumstances.  You will never run away from your problems until you solve them because before that they will bother you until you dig your own grave.

I have so far seen many people who today have given their lives to drugs and alcohol abuse as a result of failing to take charge of their own lives. Neglecting a chance to take charge of your life is more like neglecting your body. Who will bath you if you don't? Who will wash your teeth if you don't? We all have our roles in this world which is to take care of ourselves and to lead each other to our desired destinations because without any of that there is nothing about our lives will ever be interesting or better. Let us be good enough to pave our own paths.

It takes a village to raise a child

It takes a village to raise a child

I was taught at a young age back then in rural areas that I didn't belong only to my family but the whole community. I was always told by elders of the village that I wasn’t only the child to my mom and dad. But I was actually the child of the village in spite of of being related or not. But this pattern seem to have changed and lost because now elders careless of what other children do. They just care about their children only. Are we now neglecting all what we believed in and what our elders believed in?

Another proven fact about this matter is the continuous rapes on children amongst our communities and brutally killings that we often witness within our communities. It might not be your biological child but if that child succeeds it is also benefit your community in many ways, even by reducing poverty. Teenagers are now intimacy with old people with the aim of getting money. And as a result this children end up dropping at school and be affected with HIV& AIDS. It should sadden everyone in the community to see teenagers neglecting their future because the future of the country depends on them. Let’s protect them.
